Hadyn Parry

Hadyn Parry, Executive Chairman
Hadyn started his career with ICI in 1988 and went on to lead Zeneca Plant Science. He has since held a variety of senior roles in agriculture and health businesses. These have included being CEO of Oxitec. Hadyn also serves as Chairman on the boards of BioPhero and Lettus Grow and until 2013 was Chairman of Help for Heroes.
Dr Shuji Hachisu

Dr Shuji Hachisu, Chief Technology Officer
Shuji has wide experience spanning Agri-Tech, Biotech and Pharma sectors: Syngenta, GSK, Pfizer, P&G and Astex. He has held various leadership roles in R&D and authored many patents and scientific papers. Originally from Japan, Shuji came to the UK to read chemistry and complete his DPhil at the University of Oxford.
Dr Clément Champion

Dr Clément Champion, Chief Scientific Officer and co-founder
Clément graduated from the French Grandes Écoles with an Engineer's degree in Agronomy before moving to Oxford in 2012. He was awarded a Clarendon scholarship to work on the genetic control of plant growth in Prof. Dolan's research group. After completing his D. Phil, Clément contributed to the conception and led the development of MoA Technology's discovery platforms.
Prof. Liam Dolan
Prof. Liam Dolan, co-founder
Liam came to the University of Oxford as Sherardian Professor of Botany in 2009, from the John Innes Centre (JIC), and was head of the Dept. of Plant Sciences 2012-2017. He studied at University College, Dublin and at the University of Pennsylvania before a post-doc at JIC. Liam is a trustee at The Royal Botanic Gardens Kew and on the board of Oxford University Innovation.
David Scott

David Scott, Head of Business Development
David has held a variety of senior business and marketing roles in Syngenta Crop Protection and its legacy companies. Most recently he was Head of Third Party Relations, based in Switzerland, and led many negotiations for global licencing and collaborations. David has also worked in sales, country management, development and stewardship roles.
Sarah Atkins

Sarah Atkins, Chief Financial Officer
Sarah is an experienced CFO specialising in cleantech and environmental businesses and has led several trade sales and raised Venture Capital investment for early stage companies. Sarah is a qualified accountant (CIMA) and has a degree in Engineering from Oxford University.
John Street
Head of Product Development and Regulatory Affairs
John Street
John is an expert in the development and registration of crop protection products. He was Head of Global Regulatory Affairs for Syngenta (based in Basel, Switzerland) and more recently for Arysta LifeScience (now UPL). In addition to dealing with regulatory authorities around the world, John has also been involved in farmer education and training.

Dr Cassie Doherty

Cassie is Investment Director with Parkwalk Advisors, the largest EIS growth fund manager focused on university spin outs. She has worked in life sciences investment for over 10 years and prior to this led drug development programmes from academic research into Phase II clinical studies. She has a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
Prof. Franck Dayan

Franck is professor of weed science at Colorado State University, USA, specialising in functional genomics. Before joining the university in 2016, he had a 20-year career in the USDA Agricultural Research Service. Franck has published widely on herbicide mode of action and weed resistance, with over 130 peer-reviewed scientific papers to his name.
Martin Fiennes

Martin is a Principal at Oxford Sciences Innovation (OSI). OSI’s sole purpose is to help Oxford’s outstanding scientists build and grow great businesses that can improve the world. With more than £600m of capital from global investors, OSI is investing in creating companies from science developed in the University’s Medical Science and Maths, Physics and Life Sciences divisions.
Adam Workman
Adam Workman
Adam is Head of New Venture Support & Funding at Oxford University Innovation (OUI). His responsibilities include working with the Oxford Angel Network, investing in new technologies through OUI’s Proof of Concept funds and advising on the Parkwalk Oxford Innovation Funds. Adam has worked in venture capital management for 15 years after studying Natural Sciences and Computer Science at Cambridge University.
Dr David Lawrence

David is Chair of the Knowledge Transfer Network and Agrimetrics; a Director of Tropic Biosciences and UKI2S; and a Trustee of the John Innes Foundation. He was Head of R&D in Syngenta until 2009, then a non-Executive Director until 2017. David has a degree in Chemistry, and a D.Phil from Oxford University.
Dr Ken Pallett

Ken Pallett, Member of Scientific Advisory Board
Ken is an expert on herbicides and their modes of action. Until recently with Bayer CropScience and previously its legacy companies, he started his career after obtaining a PhD in herbicide mode of action at the University of Bath. Ken also worked at the UK Weed Research Organisation and at the former Trent Polytechnic. He is a trustee director at the Perry Foundation.
Prof. Graham Richards CBE, FRS

Graham is a former Head of the Department of Chemistry at the University of Oxford. He has particular expertise in computational chemistry directed towards drug design and understanding the mode of action of bioactive molecules. Graham was formerly Chairman of IP Group plc and is currently Chairman of Oxford Drug Design Ltd.
