Beckie Bown has joined moa as CFO, bringing extensive experience in finance, growth planning and business development in Life Sciences.
Beckie has held several senior finance roles within biotech and large pharma companies. Most recently, she was Vice President of Finance for Adaptimmune, a US-listed biotechnology company with responsibility for managing a multi-national finance function. Developing financial strategy for fast-growing, pre-revenue businesses is one of Beckie’s particular areas of expertise. She has had significant involvement in equity financings and collaborative partnerships. Beckie is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Beckie Bown said: “I am excited by the science at moa and struck by the increasing challenge to food production due to herbicide resistance, which moa is looking to address through development of safe, effective new herbicides.”
